Bottomless Brunches have been the go-to during covid times. The stereotypical image of a bottomless brunch goer is perhaps a date or a large friendship group. However, the crowd at Chip Shop on 30th May was far from that.
Fans of the genre had to try extremely hard not to stand up and dance - who could blame them though - how could you sit down and maintain decorum when this music is made for a rave?
The stark contrast of prosecco, finger food along with a blaring bass was certainly interesting to observe - a juxtaposition to say the least.
At one point the shutters even went down to create a bit of ambience, which was the closest to what we got to a rave - at least until the 21st June.
